Who we are

Dagger Consultants was formed and registered in Kenya in 1999. We provide specialised management consultancy and training services, strategies to resolve business problems, restructuring and staff evaluation services. See our list of services.

The organisation’s clientele is largely in the financial services industry while also servicing various private sector clients, not-for-profit organisations and parastatals. While many of our assignments are based in Kenya, our team has successfully completed projects in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Cameroon.

Our preferred approach would be to first meet with you to discuss your requirements and understand any techniques you feel have produced positive results and thus the most applicable, or those tried but shelved for having no positive impact. We bring a very practical and participatory style to all assignments. The recommended process will not only take into account our understanding of the issues and what is required, but also the most effective option. We will adapt different processes for your specific issues, tailoring the methodology to suit your needs to achieve your goals. Dagger Consultants draws from a broad-based team experience covering a global range of skills and a wealth of knowledge to enable you to meet your goals and reaffirm our position in the management consultancy industry.

During the assignment the consultant will work with you as part of your team; sharing our knowledge while also ensuring all deliverables are approved and accepted so that you retain ownership. This means that next time a similar issue occurs, your staff will be able to implement the approved changes without necessarily incurring additional consultancy fees.

We have also developed a network of professional consultants who are matched to the assignments according to their skills and competencies. This arrangement was initiated after the Founding Director completed a two year contract with PricewaterhouseCoopers. This resource network has since evolved and expanded into a group of high level professional experts. The team also includes former clients and a number of young upcoming members who are being mentored to kick start their individual careers. Because this network brings together consultants from different ages, backgrounds and expertise on a project-by-project basis, we are focused on delivery, team work and open round table discussions to create a cooperative approach to the tasks at hand. Indeed, many of our internal meetings are held in coffee shops; as can be seen from the photos of the consultancy team. If you see us, come and say hello. We may even decide to buy you a coffee!
